WKAR Public Media at Michigan State University | Host and Executive Producer, Morning Edition | April 2021 - February 2024

  • Host the no.1 most-listened-to news program in Mid-Michigan, which reaches 50,000 people weekly (Nielsen Spring 2023 Rating: 6.3 share)

  • Became one of few journalists highlighting adoptee voices following the June 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson decision

  • During my first year at WKAR, I more than doubled our coverage of the Asian American community, reporting on ways young Taiwanese and Chinese Americans are re-imagining Lunar New Year celebrations during the pandemic to the ways in which Lunar New Year has become a reclamation of identity for Asian adoptees. 

  • Recognized by the Associated Press Media Editors as Michigan's 2021's "Broadcast Rising Star," given to one public radio employee with less than 5 years in the field
